When I travel the World I usually try to look at everything they have in their stores there. This allows me to broaden my horizons and make sure that I don’t miss out on anything important that I might be able to find there such as this leslie speaker. This is something that I spotted during my recent visit to another part of the country and I was very glad to have found out about it.

Beachy relaxation

If dipping your toe in some of the world’s clearest aqua blue waters has always been a dream, then a summer vacation to Akumal in Quintana Roo is the place for you. This stunning beach destination is just a short drive from Mexico’s Cancun Airport. Here you will find miles of pristine fine white sandy beaches, luxury resorts, incredible dining and shopping and most importantly, some of the bluest waters anywhere on the planet.  It has long been renowned for its world-class diving and the beautiful Half-Moon Bay.

 

Exotic delights

From beautiful tropical beaches to the bustle of the capital city of Bangkok, Thailand is a country everyone should explore. Often touted as having the world’s best street food, it is also a shopper’s paradise. The natural beauty of Thailand changes dramatically from the beaches in the south to the villages in the north.  Bankgkok’s golden temples and treks to visit the hill tribes on the back of an elephant only add to the exotic wonder of this peaceful country.

 

Historic sights

Not much in the world is more historic than the Coliseum and the Forum, right next to each other in Rome. Relics of the first great western civilization that controlled the known world at that time, these two attractions are impressive not only for their beauty but also for their history. This is where Caesar walked and where gladiators battled to the death. So much of our world’s history comes from this spot. Pristine Nature

Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada is an outdoors person dream. While hiking, climbing and mountain biking are year-round pursuits; in the summer visitors also enjoy canoeing, rafting and kayaking the glacier-fed rivers and lakes. It is home the stunning emerald Lake Louise, Canada’s largest cave system the Castleguard Caves, more than 1000 glaciers, and a 27-hole championship golf course. There are truly luxurious hotels including the Fairmont Banff Springs or for those more adventurous there are plenty of campsites.

 

Urban Excursion

For something a little different, what about a city centered vacation? A favorite is Seattle, Washington which enjoys near perfect weather in the summer – not too hot and not too cold (or wet). With the ocean, mountains and thousands of acres of parkland, Seattle is a little bit of everything in one great cosmopolitan city. There are museums, theaters, festivals along with world-class dining, luxury and discount shopping. A special treat in Seattle is the Pike Place Market for fresh fish and wonderful trinkets, enjoy a latte at the original Starbucks, or visit the EMP Museum designed by architect Frank Gehry, and highlighting the history of music in Seattle. For the sport buffs don’t miss your chance to catch a Seahawks or Mariners home game.

 

One thing about being a beginner is that you get to be better at what you do. This truth definitely applies to guitars. If you have never help a guitar in your hands, or if you have just held them a few times, you will definitely want to try out a beginner electric guitar rather than a more advanced type of guitar that is available out there.

Kotor, Montenegro

Tucked away on a secluded Montenegro bay, Kotor is surrounded by picturesque scenery and stunning views.

Take a walk through a maze of winding, cobbled streets, embark on a tour of the town’s medieval buildings, climb the 1,350 steps to the town’s ancient fortifications, or embrace your adventurous side and paraglide from the cliffs surrounding the town. There really is something here for everyone!

Kutna Hora, Czech Republic

Established as a mining village during Medieval times, Kutna Hora still boast much of its original architecture. Check out the town’s St Barbara’s Cathedral with its Gothic architecture or visit the Sedlec Ossuary, also known as the Bone Church, which has been completely decorated using human bones!

If you’re visiting during the beginning of June, you’ll also get to take part in the Royal Silver Festival, featuring crafts and goods relating to the mining history of the town. Oh, and there’s also fencing!

Bologna, Italy

Although this beautiful city often goes under the radar, it is home to a rich and varied array for cafes, restaurants, bars, and cultural treats!

If you pay this Italian city a visit, we’d highly recommend a visit to the Museum of Modern Art (they’ve got a super-cool bar!) and a day trip to the new gelato museum.

Coimbra, Portugal

Once a capital city, Coimbra is located in close proximity to two of Portugal’s most bustling cities – Lisbon and Porto. Home to one of the oldest academic institutions in Europe, the university town offers plenty for visitors to do and see.

Make sure you take a tour of the town’s ancient cathedrals and experience some traditional Fado music in one of the town’s many bars and café’s. If you’re lucky enough, you might also get to experience one of Coimbra’s famous festivals. Held each year, the festivals include firework displays and street parties. We’ve got it on good authority that Queima das Fitas (the Burning of the Ribbons) in May, and Festas da Rainha Santa are not to be missed!

Kosice, Slovakia

Whilst Slovakia’s capital city, Bratislava is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination, the country’s second city, Kosice, is still relatively unheard of – but we’d highly recommend a visit!

Located on the eastern side of the county, this stunning city boasts an abundance of beautiful gothic architecture, wonderfully preserved buildings, and bucket loads of historic charm.

Top attractions include the Eastern-Slovakia Museum, tucked away within a Neo-Renaissance building in the city’s main square, Villa Cassa, home to Europe’s oldest coat of arms.

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

As well as being utterly breathtaking, this city is also renowned for being warm and welcoming to all of its guests. Rich in history, and surrounded by the Olympic mountains, the capital city offers the perfect mix of east and west with its many museums, mosques, and cathedrals.

Whilst you’re there, make sure you explore the city’s historical centre (you can sign up to a free Sarajevo Walking Tour for an expert guide). There are also plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you entertained during the evenings.

The Anzore Islands, Portugal

Located just off the court of Portugal, these islands are home to stunning, crystal clear blue and green lakes, lush green prairies, volcanic cone and craters, captivating flowers, and delicious wines. If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing break, the islands are definitely worth a visit!

Porto Palermo, Albania

Located just south of Himare, Porto Palermo is a stunning expanse of green rolling hills surrounding a well preserved village. The village is centred around a beautiful 18th century castle, whose picturesque grounds spread along the pristine coastline.

As well as exploring the castle, we’d also recommend taking an early morning hike through the surrounding hills, snorkelling in the clear waters, and taking a trip along the coat to the neighbouring town of Agave.
