Best Places to Visit in Texas

The great state of Texas is a place everyone should visit at one point. There are so many wonderful cities and towns to see that it can be hard to choose where to go first. Here are a few places you shouldn’t miss on your next trip.

Galveston

Galveston is one of the most popular beaches in Texas. It’s about an hour south of Houston, and you can take a shuttle bus Galveston Island TX to and from the airport. You’ll of course want to spend time on the beach, but there are plenty of other activities to entertain the family while you’re there as well. Be sure to visit one of the amusement parks and water parks during your stay.

Austin

Austin is known for being one of the coolest cities in Texas. There’s plenty of nature to enjoy around the city including parks and some great hiking trails. You’ll also want to stop and see the impressive State Capitol near city center. You can’t go to Austin without visiting Sixth Street at night where you can find some incredibly talented musicians to listen to. Dallas

Dallas offers everything from fantastic sporting events to delicious food and amazing nightlife. You won’t want to miss seeing The Cowboys, Stars, Mavericks or the Rangers depending on what time of year you visit. The Perot Museum is a great places for people of all ages to visit and is conveniently located across from the aquarium. The Arboretum is a must see no matter what time of year. They have a tulip festival in the spring, Pumpkin Village in the fall and the 12 Days of Christmas for the holidays.

San Antonio

San Antonio is known for being home to the Alamo, which attracts thousands of tourists each year. The San Antonio River Walk is a beautiful place to enjoy some time outdoors, and you can take a boat ride down the river. If you’re looking for some fun for the whole family, you’ll definitely want to go to Sea World and Six Flags.
