5 Ways to Protect Your Home While on Vacation

Home security is always an issue that we often think about. Most of the U.S population will take a vacation away from their home during the summer months. According to FBI statistics, most communities will experience a 10 to 18 percent increase in home burglaries during the months of July and August. There are numerous ways to prevent this from happening to you. Of course one of the best solutions is to hire a professional to come and inspect certain aspects of your home such as your roof, windows, and doors. You can check out this website for a professional and also follow these 5 tips:

  • Make sure all doors and windows are locked and fastened. Doors should have deadbolt locks with a one-inch throw and reinforced strike plate.
  • Examine your home from the street and make sure no valuables, like expensive electronics such as T.V.’s or even artwork are visible from the street.
  • Unplug the power to your automatic garage door to keep people from opening it with a universal remote.
  • Make it appear that you’re home – use timers on lights, radios, and televisions if available, if not keep a few lights on at all times.

Keep the perimeter of your home well-lighted.

Live Like a Local in Italy

In my life, I have been to many places in the world. One of those places that is so charming that I keep coming back there over and over again is Italy. If you have ever been there, then you know what I am talking about here. Not only is Italy extremely rich in history, but it has great climate and great countryside you are likely to remember for a very long time.

It is alright to travel and stay in a hotel if all you want to do is to lie on a beach and bask in the sun without experiencing anything else, but if you prefer to know how life in Italy looks like when lived by a local you should definitely become interested in Amalfi Coast Agriturismo.

One of the most obvious benefits of agriturismo is that you get to experience the local cuisine the way you would never be able to experience it in a hotel. Agriturismo allows you to become a witness to how life can look in rural Italy and what you can do to become part of it. You can also see how the food is made so that you can try to learn to imitate the whole process once you arrive home.

I myself am interested in Amalfi Coast Excursions. I am yet to experience the true rural life that only Italy can offer in its uniqueness. The country is really beautiful with stunning views, very moderate climate, and many interesting things to do, not only when it comes to lying on the beach, which still can be done if you are really into that type of things. On the other hand, if you value adventure, you will be thrilled to experience everything that Italy has to offer to all those who choose to visit this lovely country at any time of year.

Camp In Style and Comfort

You love going on adventures; getting out and exploring all of the beautiful places that this country has to offer. The idea of being under the starts and surrounded by nature thrills you, but the very thought of pitching a tent and lying in a sleeping bag isn’t exactly something you consider fun.

You can explore the Great Outdoors in comfort when you own an RV, but first, you need to find the right RV for your needs. You can do this by checking out specialty RV sales. With the right RV, you can enjoy camping in comfort and in style. Here’s a look at some of the reasons why you will love your new purchase.

Why You’ll Love Owning an RV

You’ll enjoy so many amazing benefits when you hit the open road and explore in your very own RV. Here’s a look at just some of the reasons why you’ll love owning one.

Comfortable sleeping accommodations. Forget laying on a hard, dirt floor; in one of these campers, you will have the benefit of a comfortable bed to sleep on and a wonderful night of sleep. Sleeping on a super soft, supportive surface in nature is a truly amazing experience.

Spacious gathering areas. You’ll be able to gather with your friends and family in a comfortable social area in each of these campers. They are outfitted with plush seating, plenty of space, and even feature excellent entertainment options.

Great cooking. You’ll be able to enjoy good home cooking, thanks to the fully equipped kitchens. You’ll have a kitchen that features a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator and plenty of counterspace.

Storage to spare. You’ll have no trouble taking all of your necessities with you, thanks to the ample storage space in your RV. You’ll have plenty of space to store all of your clothing, shoes, blankets and everything else you want to take along.

Top tips on choosing a hire car

Choosing the right hire car might make the difference of making or breaking your next holiday or business trip. With so much potentially at stake, therefore, here are a few top tips on getting that choice right:

Do you need one?

  • perhaps the first, rather obvious question, is whether you need a hire car at all;
  • with your own car forever at your beck and call at home, it might be tempting to expect that you always need one wherever your travels might be taking you;
  • but if you are going to be spending a week in Manhattan, for example, where the price of car rental is high, parking is expensive and taxis are comparatively cheap and more convenient, why encumber yourself with a hire car;

What type of car do you need?

  • where you are going, how long you will be there and what you are going to be doing there are all factors likely to influence the type of hire car you choose;
  • if you are on a city break where a car is likely to be useful, a smaller vehicle for nipping about town might be your choice, rather than a more powerful, roomier but fuel-heavier car you might need for touring or when longer road journeys are necessary;
  • it is all a question of horses for courses, as the saying goes;

Insurance

  • choosing the appropriate type of hire car is not only going to affect the cost of rental, but also what you may need to pay for the vehicle’s insurance;
  • sometimes, it might be difficult to work out exactly how much the insurance is costing you, since it is included in the overall package of car rental – particularly if you are renting in the UK or Europe;
  • if such a package is included, make sure that you understand just what it covers – common excluded may be damage to certain parts of the vehicle, or even the theft of the car – and if you need arrange cover yourself, be aware that there is a bewildering array of different types of insurance you may need;
  • similarly, you are likely to find that the excess you may have to pay on any such insurance is rarely made clear at the time of booking;

Fuel policy

  • you might also want to check the rental company’s fuel policy;
  • typically, this is going to be one of two different arrangements – picking up and returning the car with a full tank of fuel or returning it empty;
  • if it is the former, make sure to refuel before you return the car – or you risk paying an inflated price for fuel if the rental company has to refill it for you – and if it is the latter, you may end up paying for any unused fuel still left in the tank when you return it;

Book early

  • not only is this likely to be one of the most expensive places from which to hire your car, but by this stage in your travels you are unlikely to have the pick of the particular make and model of vehicle you want to rent and be left only with those that the company has available;
  • to give yourself the widest possible choice – at a more competitive rate – therefore, you might want to book your hire car as early as possible when planning your trip;

Documents

  • once you have chosen your hire car, remember that there are the obvious documents to take, such as your driving licence and the paperwork for any excess insurance you might already have bought;

Safety equipment

  • remember that some European countries have particular rules about the safety equipment you must carry in any car you are driving – such as warning triangles, high-visibility tabards and even breathalyser kits;
  • make sure that any car you hire has the necessary equipment on board before you drive it away.

If you are planning to hire a car the next time you go away, therefore, it is worth giving the matter plenty of thought in advance, so that you may avoid some of the more obvious – and expensive – pitfalls.

Visiting Thailand

Visiting Thailand at this time of year has many obvious benefits. Since it is February, escaping the winter blues can be an invaluable tool ensuring that you do not have to suffer from winter sadness that strikes so many people in western countries at this time of year. It is also a nice change of scenery allowing you to do something different for a change when everybody does is talk about work and nothing else. I myself am a huge enthusiast of traveling in the middle of winter because I want to beat the winter gloom by going to places that are always sunny, and Thailand is a good example that this is indeed true.

One of the nicest places I have ever heard of in Thailand is Krabi. If you are in the mood for some sunny and absolutely stunning Krabi beaches, you will be interested in krabi transfers that will allow you to get from an airport of your choice to any hotel in Krabi you can think of. It is always better to have such things prepared in advance as the moment you set foot on Thai soil you don’t want to start looking for airport transfers. Instead, you want to be able to relax from the moment you go on holidays so that all you can think of are your holidays.

Why booking airport transfers in advance is such a good idea? There are several reasons this is very convenient. First of all, you don’t know the local languages, so having somebody book an airport transfer is a great idea. Secondly, thanks to the Internet you can do such things many weeks in advance, which will give you the peace of mind as you will know that everything is being taken care of and all you need to do is to fully enjoy your heard-earned holidays that you have always wanted so much and that you finally have time to go on.

Beachwear for Spring and Summer

With the spring and summer season just around the corner, many of us will be planning holidays and, while it’s hard to picture right now, one day we will wake up to warm, sunny weather ready to bask in the sun.
1

As we’ll be spending time on the beach, where swimwear and beachwear play an important role, it’s useful to know that shops receive around 80% of new season swimwear stock in February and March. Ever wondered why size options seem limited by July? Savvy shoppers either snap up new season swimwear now, or get a last season bargain in the winter sales. Brands such as Airy Mary are a prime example of stores which specialize in swimwear and beachwear all year round, but boast the widest selection from February to April.
In my opinion, supportive, fashionable swimwear is something that shouldn’t be a panic purchase in your local supermarket hours before your flight. If you think that all swimsuits are equal, think again. We now have the choice of high tech Lycra mixed with soft polyamide in styles that can flatter all body shapes: underwired, non-wired, tummy control, bra sized for larger busts, with matching shorts and sarongs……the list is endless. Airy Mary offers swimwear to HH cup, so there really is no excuse for fuller busted women to let gravity win by wearing swimwear designed to support a B cup.

I have always liked the idea of shopping for lingerie and swimwear on the internet, provided that I’m offered free returns and free shipping on anything. They aren’t items I enjoy trying on in stores. I can buy whatever I want and if it doesn’t fit me, which happens from time to time, I send it back for a full refund. As well as choice, online shopping allows me to compare prices quickly, which also can’t be said for shopping on the high street. In the past, I’ve travelled light and I’ve travelled to destinations where I brought way too much clothing with me. Swimwear, however, is small, lightweight and easy to pack. So if I want to mix it up and wear something different at the pool each day, there’s nothing to stop me. With my daydreams of the beach and sunny weather, I’m getting back to online browsing. As long as I start the search early, this strategy is paying off.

Thai International’s Passengers Flying Bangkok To Haneda Enjoy Online Booking, Automatic Check-in

Travel with Thai Airways International from Bangkok to Haneda Airport in Tokyo and you can book your flight online, check-in for your flight in Bangkok using automatic check-in kiosks and enjoy internet check-in and express services in Haneda.

Thailand’s national flag carrier Thai Airways or THAI flies twice daily from its home base at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Haneda Airport, which is located around 15 km from central Tokyo.

These non-stop flights linking the Thai and Japanese capitals can be booked through the Thai Airways website, as can flights the Thai airline operates across its global network to over 60 destinations in the Asia Pacific region, Europe and the Middle East.

Thai Airways aims to increase convenience and streamline the process of making travel arrangements, with its passengers able not only to book flights online from Bangkok to Haneda (for example) but then to also have the option of making use of an automatic check-in service at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

These new automatic check-in kiosks are designed to reduce check-in time to between two and five minutes per passenger. The machines are in service at the airport for a trial period that runs until 29 February 2016. They are located in the departure lounge on the fourth floor of Suvarnabhumi Airport’s Concourse Building D and are manned around the clock by airport staff who can advise on how to use them.

THAI passengers can check-in at the kiosks for their Bangkok to Haneda flight using their passport, ticket number or Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer number. During the automatic check-in process a passenger is issued their boarding pass and can choose his or her own seat.

At Haneda Airport, THAI’s passengers also enjoy extra convenience with the airline’s Internet Check-in & THAI Mobile Application express services.

This includes online check-in between two and 24 hours before flight departure, advance seat selection, quick boarding pass pick-up and bag drop at the Internet/Mobile check-in counter and priority boarding.

The same services are available to THAI passengers departing from Narita Airport, which is around 60 km from central Tokyo.

In addition to Tokyo, THAI also flies to the other Japanese destinations of Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo. As the nation’s ultra modern and bustling capital, Tokyo offers the visitor much to see and do. Among the top attractions in the capital are The Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree, Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens, the fashion and nightlife area of Shibuya and Sensoji Temple.

Osaka in Midwest Japan is known for Osaka Castle, Universal Studios Japan and as one of the best places in which to enjoy the renowned Cherry Blossom Festival. Nagoya boasts a long history and is the birthplace of three notable feudal lords; Nagoya City is a vibrant coastal city of parks, department stores and restaurants and is home to the world famous Edo-period Nagoya Castle.

Fukuoka is the Kyushu region’s centre of administration and economy and each year hosts the colourful Hakata Dontaku port festival. As Hokkaido’s capital and largest city, Sapporo is gaining attention as a tourism city with attractions like the Sapporo Snow Festival, YOSAKOI Soran Festival and Sapporo International Art Festival.

The Thai airline’s Japanese destinations are among 48 points it serves in 19 countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Passionate about Nature

Being passionate about nature means that you get to spend a lot of time outdoors admiring it. There are some really spectacular places in the world that simply cannot be missed. One of those places is Yellowstone National Park.

If you are a photographer and live in the United States, I am sure that you are familiar with the place. After all, it is home to some of the most fabulous places in the country you can possibly imagine. In my opinion, not that many other places can even try to compare to the outstanding beauty of the Park. If you have been there before, then I am sure that you know what I mean here.

When visiting places such as Yellowstone National Park, it always pays to have a guide. If you don’t have one, you might end up missing many of the secret places in the Park. Only if you hire somebody familiar with the place can you be sure that you aren’t going to miss anything worth seeing.

When it comes to Yellowstone National Park, I am sure that each one of you knows about it and most of you have been there before. The Park was the first national park in the world and it continues to boasts some of the most wonderful views you can possible imagine, one of which is Old Faithful Geyser that erupts every 45 to 125 minutes. Seeing it erupt is something that simply cannot be so easily forgotten. An image like this stays with you for the rest of your life.

I look forward to my next visit to Yellowstone National Park. When I am finally going to be there, I am going to hire a tour guide. Last time I was there we hired one, and it was one of the best decisions during our stay there.

Exploring the World

It is never too late to start exploring the world. Even if you haven’t been traveling a lot up to this day, don’t worry about it because you can start exploring various places right now and have a lot of fun this way.

Whenever I try to book a flight to take me to some of the remotest and most exotic places in the world I also try to get a good deal. For example, what I do is to check www.airfrance.co.uk on a regular basis to spot a good deal on a flight.

I strongly believe that one of the secrets to budget flying is not having a particular preference where to go. I am always open minded when it comes to choosing where I want to travel. My destinations are not set in stone, so I am open to book a flight to take me anywhere in the world where there is a good deal.

Let’s look at for example at the flights between Manchester Paris. If you live in the UK and feel adventurous, you might want to choose to go to Paris for a weekend and then come back to the UK after spending there a weekend full of memorable events that you chose to take part in.

You wouldn’t believe the prices you can get for some of the flights in Europe and the rest of the world. Some of them are so low that most of us might not be able to resist them. There are some great savings to be made if you choose those flights, and it is up to you to make your reservations today. Just make sure that you stay up to date with the latest deals, and you should be fine being able to get to some of the greatest destinations in the world.

Traveling for Music

Every time I travel somewhere, I try to pay attention to the local music. I have been doing it for years, and it has definitely allowed me to learn many interesting things about each country I visit. It also made me more interested in music in general, and in items such as this sm57. I enjoy learning new things, so whenever an opportunity presents itself, I like to grab it.
